The room was very clean. The sheets looked freshly washed and there were no bugs anywhere. The view from the room was great especially at night. The location wasn't terrible as it was only a 5 minute walk to the closest metro station, but at night the area looked a bit sketchy. Overall it was a nice place to stay, especially for the price.
I absolutely loved my experience here. The room was immaculate and a great deal. King size bed with a panoramic view of Queens. For the price, it's one of the best deals in town. It's walkable to the ferry across to the upper east side of New York and the subway is nearby to Midtown. The hotel Front Desk management was incredibly polite and helpful. Would do this again in a heartbeat.
Friendly staff and a clean room with a view. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable. On the negative side, no one came to clean the room for the entire 7 days, and we had to specifically ask for fresh towels ourselves. They also ran out of shampoo and only then decided to restock. Additionally, there was nowhere to hang our clothes—no hangers or closet at all. The area looks a bit sketchy, but no one bothers you, and the nearby shops are very affordable, making it easy to stay on budget. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a decent and economical stay in NYC, and I would stay here again despite the issues. After all, $800 for 7 nights is a great price by New York standards. A huge plus is how close it is to the subway.
